How to spot a planet
- Planets shine with a steady light. Stars twinkle. More ways to tell them apart.
- “Up” means at least a fist’s width above the horizon at arm’s length, clear of most trees and rooftops.
- “Low”, “halfway up” and “high” say how far up the sky to look, from just above the horizon to almost overhead.
